Children’s Ministry
Mission Statement
Council Road Kids Grade School Ministry exists to share God’s love with kids and their families so everyone can understand His plan for their lives, discover Bible truths and apply those truths in daily living. It is our desire to partner with parents in helping kids on their journey with God and each other.
Weekly Happenings
Sunday
Our 1st-5th grade kids meet on the third floor of the Children’s Building each Sunday at 9 a.m. for graded, small-group Bible study. During the 10:30 a.m. worship hour, Kids Worship provides an upbeat and age-appropriate worship service for kids 1st-3rd grade.
Wednesdays
On Wednesday evenings from 6:15-7:30, our kids will engage in games, activities and Bible-learning activities through age-graded classes that target the biblical and developmental learning level of each group.
Council Road Kids is a ministry seeking to make disciples who know God, follow Him and make other disciples. We do this through age appropriate learning that always points back to Jesus. We teach the Gospel each week to share God’s love with kids and their families. Our desire is to see children and families know Jesus and for them to experience His love and plan for their lives.
Meet Bonnie
Bonnie Cannon serves as the Children's Minister at CRBC. She is passionate about children knowing Jesus and living their lives for Him. She prays that God would capture each heart at an early age so they can live their whole life for Him. She previously served as a Childcare Coordinator at her previous church, was a 2nd Grade Teacher in Perry, OK, and served in her childhood church as the secretary. Bonnie is married to her wonderful husband, Sam, whom she loves serving along-side.
She has 2 beautiful children, Benjamin and Anna, and loves serving as their Children’s Minister.
All CRBC Children’s volunteers and employees are Ministry Safe trained and certified.
