It is for the men in the Kingdom Son transitional discipleship ministry house that Council Road members are helping to fill with supplies. It will be a place for the men to come and experience Christ's love for them. People who support this ministry as well as other men who have experienced prison and are now living a Christ-centered life will be in attendance. After the 6 p.m. fellowship, we will have praise and worship followed by teaching or testimonies from a volunteer pastor or fellow ex-offender who is now dedicated to Christ-centered living. We will end the evening with praise, success stories and prayer requests. We have groups for those who have a friend or family member who is addicted or incarcerated, those battling substance abuse and those who are trying to deal with domestic and sexual abuse, anger, grief, divorce, co-dependence, etc. Celebrate Recovery recognizes the importance of God's healing power in our lives.

WHAT IS THE LANDING? The Landing is a Christ-centered environment for 7 - 12th grade students to be honest and open about their hurts, habits, and hang ups. It’s Celebrate Recovery for students! Whether addictions like alcohol, or pornography, scars from the past like abuse or trauma, or ongoing battles with insecurities and fears, we believe the plan for growth is the same. We lead students through the Biblically based 12 steps by encouraging them to acknowledge and confess sin, make amends where needed, and continue to grow and give back. The Landing is a place to be real, and to find real hope in a God whose redemptive power can overcome any struggle. HERE ARE SOME THINGS THAT MAKE THE LANDING SO EXCITING: It’s experience based. Instead of students learning in a lecture format, they get involved with the lessons. They’ll write, draw, talk, move, answer questions and much more. It’s 52 weeks and it never stops. Just like Celebrate Recovery, The Landing goes all year long. Our hurts, habits and hang-ups don’t take a break so neither do we! The lessons are based on the Celebrate Recovery lessons. Students will experience lessons like, Denial, Forgiveness, Spiritual Inventory, and all of the 25 Celebrate Recovery lessons in ways that apply directly to them. It has 22 high quality videos from our partners The Skit Guys and Igniter Media. Students will write out their inventories and their testimonies

First Thursday Potluck
The First Thursday of every month we have a potluck  dinner. We play games, work puzzles or just sit around and talk. Either way, it’s a good time for all. Come join us for lots of food, fun and fellowship.

Cube and Church offices will be closed for Good Friday. There will be a Good Friday service in the evening.

Good Friday will focus on the tremendous sacrifice of our Savior for us. We encourage everyone to attend because this service helps us to understand the great victory we will celebrate on Resurrection Sunday, Easter Sunday. Worship Care for children available for ages Pre-K and under.

Kingdom Son Worship Nights will meet at 6 p.m. in the Missions Cafe just for tonight.. It is for the men in the Kingdom Son transitional discipleship ministry house that Council Road members are helping to fill with supplies. It will be a place for the men to come and experience Christ's love for them. People who support this ministry as well as other men who have experienced prison and are now living a Christ-centered life will be in attendance. After the 6 p.m. fellowship, we will have praise and worship followed by teaching or testimonies from a volunteer pastor or fellow ex-offender who is now dedicated to Christ-centered living. We will end the evening with praise, success stories and prayer requests. Fellowship will follow until 8 p.m. This is essential for men who have just gotten out of prison and are trying to live and learn Christ-centered living. Contact Ricky Z if you have questions.

There are classes for the various age groups where the kids will participate in games, hands-on learning, and Bible-learning activities that target the spiritual and developmental learning level of each group.

The Foster/Adoption Support Group meets on Wednesdays at 6:15 p.m. in C201. The group is for foster parents, adoptive parents, Safe Families volunteers, mentors or anyone who works with children who don't live with their biological parents. The churchwide summer kick-off worship night will be held in the Worship Center at 6p.

All Council Road church members are invited to the Church Council Summary Meeting at 5 p.m. in the Chapel. A summary will be presented of what was discussed in the Church Council meeting.

We will have a worship service with baptism and the Lord Supper. Following the service we wll vote on the new budget and committee nominees. There will be no connection classes. Worship care is available for children pre-K and under.
