Group Season

At Council Road, we believe spiritual growth happens best on a shared journey because it is just easier to grow in faith when you are surrounded by others who support, pray for, and study with you. From babies to senior adults, whether you are looking for in-depth Bible study, spiritual accountability, or a place to belong, Council Road has group opportunities for you.  We will celebrate Groups Season April 12 through May 17, highlighting a variety of discipleship opportunities. Check out the Ministries tab on our church website, or contact our Adult Discipleship Minister hereto learn more!

Do you want to grow in your faith? Do you want to help others grow in their faith?

Regardless of your age or where you are on your spiritual journey, we have a group for you. Contact our Discipleship Minister, Vickey Banks, through our church office for suggestions on how you can take the next step to growing and helping others grow through our groups ministry!

10:30a Worship Service

Bring a friend, neighbor, coworker, or family member to join us!

•  9 a.m. Connection Class – A welcoming hour to connect, learn, and grow together.

•  10:30 a.m. Worship Service – Come celebrate God’s goodness with all of us in unified praise and teaching.

Let’s fill those rooms with new faces and fresh energy. Who knows what God might do as we step forward together?

‍ ‍This Sunday's Scripture:  Psalm 1:1-6

Oh, the joys of those who do not
follow the advice of the wicked,
    or stand around with sinners,
    or join in with mockers.
2 But they delight in the law of the Lord,
meditating on it day and night.
3 They are like trees planted along the riverbank,
    bearing fruit each season.
Their leaves never wither,
and they prosper in all they do.

4 But not the wicked!
They are like worthless chaff, scattered by the wind.
5 They will be condemned at the time of judgment.
Sinners will have no place among the godly.
6 For the Lord watches over the path of the godly,
but the path of the wicked leads to destruction.

Sunday's Worship

I Surrender All
All Sufficient Merit
All Hail King Jesus
More Like You

THE LANDING

WHAT IS THE LANDING? The Landing is a Christ-centered environment for 7 - 12th grade students to be honest and open about their hurts, habits, and hang ups. It’s Celebrate Recovery for students! Whether addictions like alcohol, or pornography, scars from the past like abuse or trauma, or ongoing battles with insecurities and fears, we believe the plan for growth is the same. We lead students through the Biblically based 12 steps by encouraging them to acknowledge and confess sin, make amends where needed, and continue to grow and give back. The Landing is a place to be real, and to find real hope in a God whose redemptive power can overcome any struggle. HERE ARE SOME THINGS THAT MAKE THE LANDING SO EXCITING: It’s experience based. Instead of students learning in a lecture format, they get involved with the lessons. They’ll write, draw, talk, move, answer questions and much more. It’s 52 weeks and it never stops. Just like Celebrate Recovery, The Landing goes all year long. Our hurts, habits and hang-ups don’t take a break so neither do we! The lessons are based on the Celebrate Recovery lessons. Students will experience lessons like, Denial, Forgiveness, Spiritual Inventory, and all of the 25 Celebrate Recovery lessons in ways that apply directly to them. It has 22 high quality videos from our partners The Skit Guys and Igniter Media. Students will write out their inventories and their testimonies

We will meet in Room 201.

This Sunday's Scripture: Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.

2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,

he leads me beside quiet waters,

3 he refreshes my soul.

He guides me along the right paths

for his name’s sake.

4 Even though I walk

through the darkest valley,

I will fear no evil,

for you are with me;

your rod and your staff,

they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me

in the presence of my enemies.

You anoint my head with oil;

my cup overflows.

6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me

all the days of my life,

and I will dwell in the house of the Lord

forever.

Sunday's Worship

Here I Am to Worship

The Wonderful Cross

Holy Forever

Teach Me to Grow

Open the Eyes of My Heart

We Fall Down

Fusion is an adult class for all ages. We live life together, focusing on God's Word and applying it to our lives. We desire to support one another building healthy relationships at home, work and in our community, and to share the Gospel as we grow in our walk with Christ. Our teaching approach is more topical, but centered on Scripture. As needs arise, we love to serve our surrounding community.
